Director of Kumar Urban Development, Ms. Kruti Jain, admits that the property exhibitions help the developers to get in touch with wide range of buyers. In addition to it, buyers get an opportunity to check out different residential projects under the same roof and also obtain other benefits like spot loan offer, site visit, price comparison of different projects, etc. She further adds that even though these property expo’s boost the real estate market, they should not be organized during the festive season.
She sums up saying that a sale of properties depends upon a lot of factors, such as prevailing market conditions and the economic situation of the country. In India, people tend to buy in the auspicious time of Akshaya Tritiya or Gudi Padwa, as it is considered a good time to invest, and property exhibitions held during these festive season do well as the real estate market shows an upward trend.
The real estate sector claims that property exhibitions works as a sales driver and the sales figure grows during such fest and they are definitely a powerful brand driver for realty sector.
